Jordan & Gary’s Rosemary Beach wedding was EVERYTHING! They chose the elegant Pearl Hotel as their venue and it never disappoints! Their day was filled with the most gorgeous decor, heartfelt speeches, and killer dance moves! Jordan and Gary are an amazing couple. They exude selflessness, kindness and joy. OH, and they know how to throw a PARTY! I truly enjoyed capturing their wedding. Here are a few of my favorite shots from their beautiful day!
Colin & Abigail were happily #rosemarried in February of this year. The weather, decor, and hair couldn't have been more on point for this beautiful destination wedding. It was such a fun day filled with love, laughter and stellar dance moves. A wedding should be the best party you ever throw right?! Well, trust me, the Elias wedding did not disappoint! It was quite the event!
Abigail reached out to me last year about shooting her wedding through one of my old roomies/best friend. As soon as we spoke over the phone I knew that I wanted to be the one to capture their BIG DAY. Her and Colin are middle school sweethearts and have the sweetest love story! We had a blast shooting their engagement session and now here we are sharing the wedding images! I'm so honored to have been the photographer to capture their story and their happiest of days!
Congrats Abigail & Colin! I wish you both the very BEST!
What would you do if you had the vision, drive, and passion to start your own business, to receive a better education, and to create a better life for yourself but had no recourses to make it happen?
This past January I had the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic and document a non-profit company that does just that. Global Effect’s mission is to partner with impoverished communities to bring sustainable transformation that has a spiritual, economic, social, and educational impact.
GLOBAL EFFECT EDUCATION PROGRAM
Since 2009, Global Effect has been involved in the local school systems in the Dominican Republic and have partnered with the local principals to bring about community change through young people living in these communities.
Global Effect realized that for those students that had the “right stuff” to be a positive role model and a leader in their community with a strong desire to create sustainable change, had no financial resources or option to further their education beyond high school. They had been given no opportunity to obtain the knowledge base necessary to be a great leader in their community.
After going through the 2 year Character Counts leadership program, high school students can now obtain a college degree and make their dreams a reality.
The Global Effect Education Program is currently implemented in 8 schools in the Dominican Republic.
In May 2011 Global Effect began micro lending in the Dominican Republic in order to transform communities by creating jobs.
Throughout the years Global Effect has given a variety of loans to people in need. Some of the original loan recipients have paid off their first loan and borrowed money to sustain or expand their business through a second loan.
The average loan to start a business is approximately $500 US dollars. Through this program lives are being changed and communities are being transformed by giving people the opportunity to work and provide for their families.
Micro lending is another way to spell HOPE in an area that is devastated with poverty.
I had the opportunity to see with my own eyes the HOPE being birthed within these wonderful people. Hearing their testimonies and seeing the joy and thankfulness in their eyes was life changing. You can’t make this stuff up. It was an extreme honor to capture the impact that Global Effect has had in these Dominican Communities.

Jim & Kay,
It was such an honor to capture this special day. This intimate gathering of close family was the perfect way to celebrate. All the love and smiling faces warmed my heart. The beach couldn't have been any more beautiful along side your true love vows being said and your lives becoming one. I wish you both the very best along this sweet and wonderful journey.
Chad & Jen
This wedding was so fun to shoot! The location, the people, and the music rocked! It's always so refreshing to work with good people. Chad and Jenny truly are a beautiful couple inside and out! So happy these Nashville natives chose to say "I do" here at our beautiful Rosemary Beach.

Your wedding was an absolute JOY to capture. Not only was it fun, but it truly was a reflection of the beautiful picture of Christ's design for marriage. God was deeply and lovingly honored on 6.24.17. I'm so happy for you both. Thankful to have been a part of this special day.
Jenny and Chad were such a pleasure to photograph last week! These Nashville natives are getting married at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach this summer and I couldn't be more thrilled to be capturing their BIG DAY! So much love and laughter during this session!
2016 was full of so many great love stories, but one in particular couple decided to ring in the new year as husband and wife. Alex and Andrew married on the rooftop of The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, Florida on New Year's weekend and had the time of their lives. It was a joyous day. I was very honored to be asked to capture this new chapter of life for these two love birds and had a great time doing it. Cheers to Alex and Andrew and the wonderful new year(s) ahead of them! #newyearnewgrissim #rosemarried
